The 3-days gorilla safari in Uganda includes a visit to the Karisoke Tomb of the famous Primatologist & researcher about Mountain Gorillas – DR Dian Fossey (R.I.P) and Gorilla trekking in the Volcanoes national park of Uganda. Golden Monkeys trekking is an optional activity.
The tour starts and ends in Kampala; after an adventurous trek in the Volcanoes National Park, you will transfer back to Kampala for your flight
On arrival, you will be welcomed by your safari guide, briefed about the safari and drive north of Uganda to Volcanoes National Park, viewing the spectacular scenery of the Virunga Mountains en route.
Enjoy your breakfast and head to the park headquarters with packed lunch to be briefed about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas then proceed to track the gorillas.
Have breakfast, proceed for another adventurous hike to Dian Fossey graveyard/tombs. Return to the lodge for lunch and leave for Kampala to fly back home.
